The Lay of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier

The Lay of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier was written in 1909 and presented to the  Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club Supplement, the original magazine edited by Mrs T M Simpson-Shaw.

The song was written by Mr Hayward John Bidwell M.V.O., who at the time was Secretary of the Royal Almonry, and was our club secretary around 1900.

He is listed as a member of Her Majesty's Household in Whitaker's Almanack of 1897...
