Midland Counties Canine Society 2010

Staffordshire County Showground, 29th October 2010.   Judge: Mrs Jackie Shore (Swanwillow)

"Thanks to exhibitors for a good entry of 45, although this was somewhat depleted by absentees.  My main concern was thin open feet, short ribcages and lack of muscle tone.  Heads were lovely, mouths excellent with big teeth.  Movement as always was an issue.  Hind movement was better than front, there were too many wide fronts."

4yrs old mature pepper. Lovely masculine dog in excellent quality coat, correct in size, strong in head good mouth, eye could be slightly darker. Good reach of neck, set into good shoulder giving a good front and tight feet. Strong ribbing and well muscled hindquarters he strode out very well front and back. Yes he carries his tail high but I forgave him that for his many virtues. CC.

Puppy Bitch

9mths pepper. Lovely puppy in 1st class coat, head needs to develop yet, dark eye and fine ears. Good body length, but for balance would like more leg length. Still very immature she moves with enthusiam.

Furnishings and more polished presentation would complete the picture.
