DDTC Championship Show 2005

10th July 2005. Judge: Mr Keith Derry (Vistca).

"My thanks to the Officers and Committee for this prestigious appointment, especially to my two stewards who kept me well on track through out the day! Also to the exhibitors for the high number of exhibits for the show (More than Crufts even). The show seemed to have a relaxed and very friendly atmosphere and my awards seemed to be well received throughout.
Generally I was disappointed with too many narrow fronted exhibits, a working dog needs good lung and heart room, of course this affects the ribcage and ultimately the shape. Dogs should look masculine and bitches feminine and too many poor top lines, dandies should have flowing lines.
Bitch CC and Best in Show was the veteran 10 years old Ch Borderstone Eminant Envoy, Dog CC, Best Puppy and Res. Best in Show was the 10 month old Cloverwood Black Pepper"
