Puppy Dog |
1st: Curran's Clydeheath's Double O'Seven Scored for outline and showmanship over 2, good in head. Better in front than 2 and also moved well behind. Sometimes seemed a bit overdone in topline and could be shorter in tail. A pity he was not in the best of coats and needs to finish there. Good length and OK for size. |
2nd: Bamber's Dentgate Huckleberry Good head and muzzle. OK in eye. Moves a shade close behind. Needs to have a bit more confidence in the ring. Good coat texture. Good tail Just needs time to develop and cheer up a bit! |

Junior Dog |
1st: Gnatyuk's Dariant Chelentano Not a bad dog but completely overdone in presentation. OK in head and eye but too much topknot. Better in body coat texture than 2, and better in front. Chest well let down. Good bone and correct round feet. |
2nd: McLaughlan & Fitzsimmons's Wilmit Hawkeye Pierce at Lanleadane Good in head and skull. Didn't move as well as 1 in front. Coat not at its best. Typical body shape. Good spring of rib and moved well behind. |
Limit Dog |
1st: Harcourt-Morris's Dainty Dandies River Mersey at Lenacourt A pleasing dog not over-exaggerated in any way. Very good head and expression, enough topknot. Stood and moved well in front. Enough length of body, and topline just right. Coat in good condition. Moved out well. Went on to win RDCC. |
Open Dog |
1st: Deacon & Hill's Ch. Cassencarrie Choirmaster Very pleasing in head and good in eye with enough strength of muzzle. Good for size. Enough neck. Shown in good coat. Moved OK in front. Typical outline and moved well going round the ring. Went on to win DCC. |
2nd: Drake's Tollcross Tartan Tavish Another with a good head and skull. Scored in eye over 3, moved better than 3 in front. Coat not really at its best today which didn't help his outline and the appearance of his neck. Good tail and tail carriage. |

Puppy Bitch |
1st: McLaughlan & Fitzsimmons's Norma Jeane Baker di Luna Caprese Not great in coat today when it comes to texture. OK in head and expression. Needs a bit more confidence in the ring. Moved out better behind than 2. Good for size and shape of topline and tail carried OK. Went on to be Best Puppy. |
2nd: Bell's Dryfevalley Gala Another pleasing youngster though she didn't move quite so well behind as the winner. Good coat. She needs time to finish in head but good in eye. Correct feet. Good in rib and loin. |

Postgraduate Bitch |
1st: Rolland's Dandiroyal Cotswold Dream I thought an easy winner here. Just a youngster but shown in excellent coat of the right length and texture. Pleasing in general make and shape with the right outline and good topline without being overdone. Excellent head and expression with good eye. Enough muzzle. Showed all the time. Moved well in front and was good in hindquarters and moved well there. Went on to win BCC and then BOB and scored there on hind movement. |
2nd: Poole's Reidswire Border Bluebell She and 3 were rather lacking in coat and she could move better. Good neck and OK shape. Good bone and feet. |
3rd: Allenby's Wilmit Mildred Potter for Diddimont |

Limit Bitch |
1st: Miller's Dryfevalley Miss Muffet Not overdone in any way and moved up and down well. She is an honest bitch and sounder in movement than some others here. Good in coat and not overdone in head but good strength of muzzle. Moved OK in front and behind. Enough length. |
2nd: France's Miss Sophie di Luna Caprese at Torbrae Plenty of head furnishings and good in muzzle with correct eye. Coat OK. Moved better behind than in front. A pity that 3 was so short of coat. |

2nd: Harcourt-Morris's Dainty Dandies Royal Dutch Emma Lenacourt A shade shorter in body. Moved better behind than 1 but not quite so well in front. Good for size and showed really well. Well sprung in rib and has enough bone. |
